Each of these images, with the exception of the Chatham Boats, was taken from the same area of Cape Cod. Long Beach, as its name implies, is a long stretch of beach surrounding Centerville Harbor. On the inland side of the beach is a salt marsh. It's the best of both worlds.  The Chatham Boats was a piece I did at the request of my husband. He spent a lot of time there on vacations with his family. The boats were being taken out of the water getting ready for the end of the summer season. I loved the colors.

Clouds Over Craigville Beach (5 x7in) 

I saw this huge cloud kind of looming over the dune and it was just quietly rolling and turning. Like a giant manta ray. It was a sunny, but this cloud was very dark. The contrast was striking.

Horseshoe Crabs (5  x 7in)

Horseshoe crabs have a ton of color that is rich and add to that the great patterns of waves on the bottom and you just can't go wrong.
