I am still doing studies for a underwater painting. This is a stripper bass. Common fish here on Cape Cod. My husband loves to catch them. They are huge.  A keeper is 27". We seldom keep them, but when we do they are wonderful on the grill fresh out of the ocean.

This is a study for a larger painting. I am working on capturing underwater life. And since I don't scuba or have an underwater camera...I'm just going to try imagining it.
